You or your church can make a difference in sharing the good news of Jesus with every household in Texas. Timeline…

  • El Paso pilot project distribution – July-September 2009
  • Order for state-wide distribution multi-media CDs placed – October 1, 2009
  • State-wide distribution of multi-media CDs – January – April 2010
  • State-wide discipleship follow-up through Operation Multiplication – October 2009 throughout 2010

How does it work?

We’re asking at least one church per county to take the lead in raising the money necessary to buy a CD for every household in their county. Funds are being collected through August 2009. The CDs will then be delivered to the partnering church in each county for them to distribute door to door or by mail (current bulk postage rate is about $ .20) to every household in their community in January 2010.

About the packaging

The packaging is a gospel presentation in and of itself that highlights a personal relationship with Christ and points to the 888-NeedHim phone number for questions about Christianity and conversation and follow up to and for any decisions to follow Christ. What Can I Do?

  • Encourage your church to take the lead in this effort for your county. You can get more information and sign up by emailing Ron Herring at the BGCT.
  • Give to provide CDs for your county. Simply go to the “Donate Now” page and when you select “Gospel Presentation CD Distribution” select your county (or the county you’d like to support). The money you give will support CD distribution in the county you designate until that county’s households have all been covered. Any additional funds will then go to another county still in need of funding.
  • Adopt a county or portion of a county by asking your Sunday School Class, prayer group, GA or RA organization, or Missions team to collect change and dollar bills to bring the hope of Christ to every household in a particular area of the state.
